Town continued their assault on the Premier Div when they ended Basingstoke’s unbeaten home record. The only goal came from (yes, you guessed it !) Adekola.
The defence were caught outby Adekola’s ball over the top, finished by a low drive – his 8th of the season! With both Leon & Battsy out injured, Kendall partnered Adekola with Saint up front. Also with Payne out injured Barry and Blaney played their parts extremely well.
A good all round team performance. Town now hold only one of three unbeaten away records in the div and they reclaimed third place from St. Albans. Sutton are now only a point clear, while Aylesbury are on level points with Town with the same goal difference, but have scored more.
